Brief
Holland & Barrett approached us to pitch a creative TV concept that would elevate their “Wellness for All” message. They wanted to move beyond functional product ads and connect with people on a more emotional, everyday level, especially those who value holistic self-care. The brief was clear: create something modern, inclusive, and uplifting that resonates with everyone from young adults to seniors. The campaign needed to reinforce the idea that wellness is not a luxury or trend, but a proactive lifestyle, and that with Holland & Barrett, taking care of yourself is always within reach.
How
We responded with a concept built around authenticity and affirmation. Centred on four diverse protagonists, a busy mum, a student, a gym-goer, and an older adult, the ad takes us through snippets of their daily lives. Each scene is driven by personal internal dialogue, voiced in a quirky and relatable tone. These voiceovers form a thread of self-compassion and everyday truth: “It’s okay to cancel plans,” “It’s okay to take a power nap.” The visual direction was clean, bright, and warm, paired with dynamic cuts to keep the pace engaging while maintaining a grounded, human feel.
What
We delivered a full creative concept for a 30-second animated/live-action TVC, backed by an adaptable script, VO direction, sample storyboards and visual references. The outcome was a modular and scalable creative toolkit ready for production across TV, online, and social placements. Most importantly, it offered a refreshing, human take on wellness, one that reflects the lived realities of Holland & Barrett’s audience, and places them at the heart of the story.
